The Carastelec Sparkling Winery was constructed by the Merkbau group in 2011-2012. The total floor space of the winery is 1190 square metres. For the roof structure of the plant’s outdoor covered storage, we used glued laminated timber beams to bridge the large spans. For this project Merkbau Kft received the Construction Industry Award for Excellence in 2015.
