Fire station
The building hosts the Marcali disaster management branch and the fire department, responsible for the safety of 49 thousand people in 41 settlements covering an area of 1100 square kilometres. The new building offers a modern environment for the fire department, far beyond the average standard. The building also accommodates the administrative part of the disaster management branch, the fire tower used for drills, the staff resting room and a training room for 60 persons.

“The Marcali fire station is currently the most modern fire station in the country, providing comfortable accommodation for the disaster management branch and the Fire Department. We are still in close contact with the construction company to this day. We know that they have completed all their construction work while always adhering to the operator’s requirements, and this approach of theirs has not changed to this day. They are at our disposal for any management, maintenance or warranty issues that may arise. We found it helpful that they paid attention already during the construction phase to make sure that the building can be expanded or developed in the future (e.g. automation of the training room’s education technology equipment).”
